In handling personal information, Kida and Associates, Inc. (hereinafter, the “Company”) shall comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable laws and regulations as well as this Privacy Statement. The Company reserves the right to change this Privacy Statement as necessary.
The term “personal information” and “personal data” as used in this Policy Statement
means personal information and personal data as defined in the Act on the Protection
of Personal Information.
2. Purpose of use of personal information
The Company uses your personal information for the following purposes. The Company will not use your personal information beyond the extent necessary for achieving these purposes of use unless it is permitted by law, the consent of the Data Subject is obtained or otherwise set forth in contracts relating to services provided by the Company (hereinafter, the “Company’s services”):
(1) To provide interpreting and translation services, deliver deliverables, and fulfill contractual obligations relating to the Company’s services.
(2) To make contact necessary for returning borrowed documents and other tangible materials, and performing the Company’s services.
(3) To manage the Company’s customer information.
(4) To conduct the process of outsourcing duties from selection of subcontractors to conclusion/fulfillment of subcontractor agreement as well as make necessary contact.
(5) To conduct our recruitment activities.
(6) To process matters related to or incidental to the above purposes of use.
3. Collection of personal information
The Company collects personal information properly within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use.
4. Security of personal information
The Company takes measures to help safeguard against the unauthorized disclosure, accidental or unlawful destruction and loss of personal information by supervising our employees to securely manage personal information, controlling access to information systems to ensure the proper management of personal information.
5. Disclosure of personal information to third parties
The Company does not provide personal information to third parties without the Data Subject’s prior written consent unless otherwise permitted by law.
6. Subcontracting
In cases of subcontracting the handling of personal data, the Company selects a reliable subcontractor who is capable of properly handling such data and give necessary supervisions to ensure that the subcontractor should take proper security control measures.

If you have requests to access, correct, add or delete your personal data retained by the Company in accordance with laws and regulations or requests for unsubscription, etc., please communicate with our contact point under “8. Contacting us.” We will address your requests to reasonable extent based on laws and regulations.
